We have chosen the Arabic lexicon which is (Almuhkam wa Almuheet Alaa'dham) by Ibn Seedah as a field for the study of the idioms "foolishness" because of the large number of words used and we have been careful in the selection of semantic fields which fall under each set of words after reading and compared with most of the Arabic dictionaries. Duried Hazim Ahmad, Saba Maulood Sulayman (Author)
December 2018 ,Pages 321.0-340.0

Abstract: In this work, a Fiber Bragg Gratings ,"FBG" had been implemented using a package of Optisystem7 as a compensation component for the spreading of optical pulse width equal to12.5ps transmitted by single mode optical fiber having 10km length and dispersion 16ps/nm.km. Moreover, the ideal performance had been investigated by using the mean value of bit error rate and quality factor for fiber communication system having fiber length 100km and bit rate 10Gbps NRZ . Also, ideal fiber grating have been taken under consideration . The results of this study confirm the ability of FBG to act as a dispersion compensation while the ideal performance occurring at QF= 9.51 & BER = 8.7 10-22at compensation of -1600ps/nm for fiber length of 100km.

Develop new method to preparation of insect pheromones
Hussein Habeeb Mustafa (Author)
December 2018 ,Pages 341.0-361.0

Abstract: New and cheap synthetic method found for the preparation of lepidopteran pheromones which include navel orangeworm pheromones. The structure of these types of pheromones contains pentaene groups which are easier to be prepared through our pathway. These pheromones were synthesized by using directives ozonolysis of cyclonona-1,4,7-triene compounds, which are then converted to a Wittig salt which is using Wittig reaction for coupling with an aldehyde which prepared as a second product from the same ozonolysis step. These synthetic methods involve novel, efficient, and environmentally benign steps. Keywords: Sex pheromones, (3Z,6Z,9Z,12Z,15Z)-pentacosapentaene, (3Z,6Z,9Z,12Z,15Z)-tricosapentaene, orangeworm and Ozonolysis
