Abstract

    The research aims to identify the difficulties of using educational platforms in teaching mathematics from the teachers' view. The research sample consists of (84)  male and female teachers, randomly selected from middle and high schools in the centre of Mosul for the academic year (2021-2022). To achieve the objective of the research, the researchers constructed a scale consisting of (33) paragraphs of the three alternatives and in five fields (educational goals, physical capabilities, teachers' characteristics, student characteristics, evaluation), and presented it to a committee of experts to ascertain its validity which was (0.802). After the verification of the scale's sincerity and stability,  it was applied to the sample. After collecting and analyzing the data, the study concluded that there are many obstacles in the use of educational platforms in teaching mathematics, as well as providing a list of many of them.
