Abstract
The study aims to identify the role of school administrations in supporting a model physical education lesson from the point of view of physical education teachers in the Mosul district center in the light of the variables of educational qualification and years of service, in the schools of Mosul Center on its right and left sides. The sample of the study consisted of teachers of physical education in the center of the district of Mosul, the number of which is (166) teachers distributed over the schools of the center of Mosul on its right and left sides. To collect the data, the researchers prepared a questionnaire after verifying its validity and reliability and presented it to the experts, which consisted of three sections and (32) items distributed on them. The statistical package (SPSS) was used to process the results. Among the statistical treatments were frequencies, the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and percentage. The results of the study showed that the role of school administrations in supporting the lesson of physical education is very high, and the sections of the external and social support ranked first. Also, it was found that there was a direct relationship between the variables of the study, academic qualification and years of service, and between the role of school administration and the lesson of physical education. Hence, the researchers recommended paying attention to the study of physical education, physical capabilities and sports equipment.
