الملخص

Injuries to the elbow joint ligaments are among the most common and complex injuries affecting athletes in various sports, particularly those involving hand movements. Tennis is one such sport where players are susceptible to elbow joint injuries, which mainly occur on the lateral side of the elbow joint. These injuries are challenging and require a well-structured and precise rehabilitation period. Many athletes' careers have been cut short due to untreated or inadequately rehabilitated elbow joint injuries. This research aims to investigate the effects of therapeutic exercises and ultrasound waves in rehabilitating and restoring the natural range of motion and reducing pain in cases of elbow joint ligament tears. The researchers also hypothesized that there would be a difference in the effects before and after the intervention.   The experimental method (single-group design) was utilized, and the research sample consisted of four injured individuals. The pretest included pain assessment using a visual analog scale and measuring the range of motion using a goniometer. The data were processed and analyzed scientifically, presenting the results in charts and using appropriate statistical methods.   The findings indicated significant improvement in pain reduction and range of motion for the elbow joint. The researchers recommended the early use of ultrasound sessions to alleviate pain, reduce swelling, and repair damaged tissues followed by therapeutic exercises to facilitate complete rehabilitation.
