الملخص

The current research aims to identify the opinions of male and female mathematics teachers about the reasons that led to the low level of academic achievement among secondary school students. A simple random sample was selected for the research, totaling (25) male and female teachers of mathematics, and the research tool included a questionnaire It included some of the reasons for the decline, which consisted of (25) paragraphs and four aspects related to the school, curricula, teaching methods and teaching aids. Achievement among students, but in varying degrees, and one of the most important recommendations of the research is the necessity of training mathematics teachers to use modern educational means and joint cooperation between the administration and teachers within planned programs to treat the problem of low level of academic achievement, and the need to follow teaching methods that have proven success and efficiency.
