Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop exercises targeting stride length and applied pressure and investigate their impact on the effectiveness of running the 110-meter hurdles. Additionally, the study aims to assess the effect of varying running path dispersion and performance in the 110-meter hurdles before and after implementing the exercises.   To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted the single-subject experimental design (A-B-A with multiple trials) to accommodate the nature of the research problem. The research participant was a member of the Iraqi national team in the 110-meter hurdles, actively participating in international and local official competitions. Due to the research's nature, involving multiple attempts, six trials were conducted to build a comprehensive database.   The study focused on the effects of specific exercises on stride length and pressure applied during the 110-meter hurdles. The analysis aimed to understand how these exercises influenced the runner's performance and overall effectiveness. By collecting data from multiple attempts, the research aims to provide valuable insights into optimizing training strategies for hurdlers and enhancing their performance in competitions
