Abstract

To identify the relationship between the variables of sensory-motor perception and the performance of the skill of float serve in volleyball among the Qaraqosh Sports Club players.       Researchers adopted the descriptive approach in correlation style due to its suitability to the research nature, and the community of the research represented by Qaraqosh Sports Club (advanced) volleyball players, which number (18) players. The research sample included (12) female players after (6) female players were excluded for their participation in the exploratory study , representing (66.666%) of the original research community. They were homogenized in variables (height, mass, age and training age) and the researchers used the questionnaire tests, forms as tools measures to reach the achievement of the goals of research. The sensory - motor perception tests and the volleyball skill test were conducted due to their suitability for the research sample. The SPSS statistics used to process the results.         Researchers concluded the sensory-motor perception affects positively to the accuracy of volleyball performance through the existence of significant relationships between them. And the achievement of the Qaraqosh Sports Club players in volleyball to the good level of sensory-motor perception, as well their accuracy of good performance in the float serve skill, leading to the existence of a significant relationship between them. Researchers recommended the need to use psychological programs that are concerned with mental abilities within the skillful, physical and tactical preparation programs for the Qaraqosh Sports Club players in volleyball.
