Abstract
The current research aims to identify the " The Effectiveness of the Listening Triangle Strategy on the Interpretation Ability of Second Intermediate Grade Students". To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher relied on the experimental method, due to its suitability and the nature of the research. The research sample consisted of (67) female students of the second intermediate grade at Al-Tamamah Secondary School for Girls in the representation of the Ministry of Education in Erbil for the academic year (2021/2022), who were chosen by the intentional method. The experimental group consisted of (33) female students who studied according to the listening triangle strategy, and the control group consisted of (34) female students who studied according to the usual method. To implement the research experiment, the researcher prepared two models of teaching plans according to the listening triangle strategy and the usual method. Then, the school of Islamic education was assigned the process of teaching the two parts of the research. In order to measure the ability of the students of the research sample to interpret the Qur’anic texts, which represents the variable dependent on the research, the researcher prepared a test for interpretation according to scientific and logical steps that confirmed its validity and reliability of the scientific research. After completing the implementation of the experiment, the researcher applied the tool to the members of the research sample. After collecting the data, tabulation and statistical analysis carried out by using (arithmetic mean, Standard Deviation, Independent Sample t-Test). Hence, the researcher found that there are statistically significant differences between both groups in favor of the experimental group students.
