Abstract
The research aimed to identify the "Effectiveness of the Hot Chair Strategy in Developing Positive Thinking and Scientific Tendencies in biology." It was selected the using experimental method according to the experimental design based on two groups ( Control and Experimental ), and the research community consisted of (7321) students from the eighth grade, and the research sample was applied” to choose a school (because it is basic for boys) for the academic year (2021-2022) and Selecting a random sample of (56) students, of whom (28) students represent the experimental group, and (28) students represent the control group, In order to achieve the goal of the research, two tools were required, first, the positive thinking test. and measure of scientific inclinations towards biology, the researchers relied on the (Aziz, 2011) scale. and the result of the research were as follows: There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who were taught using the hot chair strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied the usual way in developing a test of positive thinking and scientific inclinations in biology for the eighth graders, in favor of the experimental group. The researchers communicated using the hot chair strategy in teaching and suggested conducting more studies in other subjects.
