Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the mental arithmetic strategy in developing the logical-mathematical intelligence of the fourth-grade primary schoolgirls in mathematics. By (25) students in each of the two experimental groups who studied according to the mental arithmetic strategy, and the control group who studied in the usual way, and after conducting the process of equivalence between them in a number of variables (intelligence degree, achievement of the third grade of primary school, chronological age in months, educational level of parents, The logical-mathematical intelligence test, which was prepared by the researchers, was the logical intelligence test, which in its final form consisted of (24) paragraphs. (0.71), which is a good stability coefficient. The experiment was applied to the two research groups, starting from Monday (15/11/2021) until Tuesday (1/25/2022), using the appropriate statistical methods and about The statistical bag method (SPSS) analyzed the data statistically, and the results showed the existence of a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the pre and post tests for both groups in favor of the post application. The primary stage and in other school stages, and a number of proposals were presented for future research related to the variables of her research, including (the effect of using the constructivist model in developing mental arithmetic for fifth-grade students in mathematics
