Abstract
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the Prophets and Messengers Who was sent as a mercy to all of creation. The study includes the approach of Imam Ibn Arafa in preponderance through his interpretation, and it included two sections. The first section involves three demands; it contains the importance of preponderance, its definition linguistically and idiomatically, and the difference between preponderance and selection. As for the second section, it focuses on the rules on which the imam relied in the preponderance, and it is based on three demands, namely preponderance in terms of the transmitted meaning, preponderance in terms of rhetorical and grammatical rules, and preponderance in terms of the concept. Then, the study ends with the conclusion and the sources.
