Abstract
The research aims to investigate the impact of the multi-level self-training method on the acquisition of some basic handball skills for female students. The researcher prepared an educational program using the multi-level self-training method to acquire some basic handball skills for female students. The researcher used an experimental method with equivalent groups and a post-test. The sample included 32 students from the second stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul. The researcher used tests to measure skill acquisition and developed an educational program using the multi-level self-training method, consisting of 12 instructional units with a duration of 90 minutes. A post-test was conducted for the research groups to measure acquisition after the completion of the main experiment. Statistical methods (SPSS) were used to process the data. The conclusions reached by the researcher showed that the use of the multi-level self-training method was effective in acquiring some basic handball skills for female students. The recommendations and suggestions included using the multi-level self-training method in other subjects and conducting similar studies to find the best methods for training and teaching students to acquire basic skills in all sports.
