Abstract
The main objective of this research is to identify the reasons for the failure of sixth-grade students in the subject of English language from the point of view of primary school teachers. The research also aims to understand the differences in the level of reasons for the failure of the sixth grade students in the subject of the English language based on the variables gender (male - female) and the side (right - left). Among the male and female teachers of primary schools in the center of Nineveh Governorate. The validity of the research tool was verified by presenting it to a group of teachers and specialists in the English language subject. Its stability was also verified using Cronbach's alpha equation, as the value of the stability coefficient for the research tool on the reasons for sixth-grade students' failure in the English subject was 85%. To study the severity score and weight percentile to analyze and interpret the results.The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the answers of male and female teachers regarding the reasons for failure, which indicates the similarity of the answers between the two sexes.Researcher's recommendations:1- Using more sophisticated and effective means to attract students’ attention and increase their interest in the material, especially audio-visual means, including animations that show data show, as well as jackets with pictures, and the audio recorde .
