Abstract
This paper deals with the customs and conventions in China as they are mentioned in the books of geography during the Middle Ages. These geographical records have tackled the customs and conventions in China by means of direct views on the scientific journeys to China or indirectly through the information collected by the Moslem merchants who have reached China and brought back their own views to the Moslem geographers. This accurate information has reflected the importance of these records in talking about the non-Islamic customs and conventions and have kept a record full of events, concerning these nations.Books of geographt have talked of their cities planning, political regimes, and the method of state management in addition to the economic life in China. These records have not forgotten the customs and conventions, the topic of this study.
