Abstract
Al–Thughur got a great attention by scholars and researchers for its role in the events of Islamic Arab history. Because of its economic importance, we decided to study it as it was a military theartre during the first four centuries of Hijra until the cities of Thughur fell down one by one by the Roman who are the traditional enemy for Islamic Arab State.
The study monitored the economic developments in the Islamic Arab society and how it saved the income that exceed too much the expenditures.
The Study included a simple definition of Al -Thughur of (Al – Sham, Al – Jazeera and Awasim) and its financial resources as Land tax, tribute, economic resources (agriculture, industry and trade), collecting tithes, spoils and charities.
The important manners of spending are military costs and gifts with conclusions.
