Abstract
The research aims at comparing repetition and illustration styles in the behavioral adaptation of special education pupils and their achievement in general science subject for the academic year(2003-2004)
The sample was divided in to two experimental groups. The researchers used the Arabic version of the adaptive behavior scale of the American. society for mental retardation(school version)and which was developed by Al-Karyoni and jarar (1989) consisting of (11) dimension, and an achievement test in science made by the researcher ,consisting of (20) items the. Validity of the teswas relied using surface validity. As for stability, it has been calculated using posttest and T.test for two independent samples.
The results showed the efficiency of the second methodology. Thus, the researches made number of suggestions, recommendations and follow-up studies for this current research.
