Abstract
The research aims to identify the effect of using the cube model on the achievement of the students of the Department of Physics for Teaching Methods. The sample of the research consisted of (96) male and female third-grade students in the Department of Physics/College of Education for Pure Sciences/Mosul University, the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019). The researcher distributed the sample members into two groups: experimental and control groups. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher prepared an achievement test of the objective type and articles with a specific answer that includes the content elements of the teaching methods subject. Thus, the number of test items was (15) items distributed by (10) objective items and (5) ) article paragraphs. The researcher verified the validity and reliability of the tool as well as its psychometric properties. The experiment started on Monday (5/11/2018) and ended on Tuesday (8/1/2019). So, it lasted for 8 weeks, and after the end of the experiment, the researcher applied the test and collected and analyzed the data statistically. Hence, the results indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the average achievement of the members of the experimental and control groups and in favor of the experimental group. The researcher came up with a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
