Abstract
Praise be to Allah,Lord of the worlds, and the best of prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and upon his family and companions who are the guides and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment. The Holy Qur’an is the immortal book of Allah, and the miracle of His Messenger Muhammad, may Allah bless Him and grant Him peace, that does not perish forever. "Afalaa Jatadabarun Al Quran Wa Law Kana Min Indi Gheire Allahi Lawajadu Fihi Ightilaafan Katheera" (An-Nisa: 82). The Prophet, PBUH, said:" Kheiru Al Quroon Qarni Thuma Thua Allatheena Jalunahum". Abu Majles ,may Allah have mercy on him,was one of the great followers who had the honor of serving the Holy Qur’an and learned from its knowledge. He witnessed the collection of the Noble Qur’an during the era of Othman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) . His real name is Lahiq bin Hamid bin Saeed bin Khalid bin Katheer bin Hubaish bin Abdullah bin Sadus Al-Sadousi Al-Basri. The books that were translated for him did not specify the year of his birth, and the year of his death differed among scholars.
Research Plan includes an introduction, a preface, and two sections. The first one deals with Abu Majles: his name, pedigree, attributes, and positions. The second section involves his characteristics and attitudes. The second section tackles Shijukhs of Abu Mijlez and his students, and the scholars’ praise of him.
