AbstractFeatures of luxury and prosperity were considered the most remarkable characteristics of the society in the pre-Islam Mecca. It seems that commercial activities performed by people in Mecca were reflected on different cultural, economic and social aspects of life. The results were revealed in people's love and adoration of wealth, children, expensive clothes, perfumes and precious diamonds. Moreover, people's luxurious life can be shown in their enjoyment of all kinds of fun: drinking alcohol, holding and attending dancing and singing parties, hunting trips, breeding horses and other kinds of activities and entertainment.
