Abstract

Sports frustration tolerance and its relationship to the motivation of sports achievement among soccer players
The research aims to measure the tolerance of sports frustration among players of second-class football clubs, identify the tolerance of sports frustration among players of second-class football clubs, identify the motivation of sports achievement among players of second-class football clubs, and identify the relationship between the two. And the drive for athletic success among football players from Second Division Clubs in Nineveh Governorate. The research community comprised of players from second-division football clubs in Nineveh Governorate for the athletic season (2022–2023), totaling (183) players (category of applicants), divided among (8) clubs. The researchers employed the descriptive survey method in this study.


The main building sample in its final form consisted of (115) players, in addition to excluding (2) players for not completing their answers to the items of the scale, , The researchers concluded that the measure of sports frustration tolerance has a high effectiveness, by reaching its construction with accurate scientific specifications, as well as the emergence of a significant relationship between sports frustration tolerance and the motivation of sports achievement among players of second-division football clubs, and the researchers recommended the adoption of a measure of sports frustration tolerance Which the researchers built on football players and tried to apply it to the rest of the sporting events, as well as providing counseling programs that focus on developing the ability to withstand sports frustration among football clubs in Nineveh Governorate
