Abstract
The seventh century AH / thirteenth century AD was characterized by the emergence of the product of a number of Mosul historians, and they played a major role in writing down the historical events that took place in the city of Mosul or other Arab Islamic cities, through their contemporaneous events or what they wrote down in their books that reached us. While the narrations of Ibn al-Adim, whose source was the historians of Mosul, varied between narrations related to Mosul and its men, and others concerning the city of Aleppo and its scholars, and it is one of the most important sources that the historian Ibn al-Adim relied on in his book (in order to request in the history of Aleppo), but the importance of these remains The novels being circulated in the last era are different from being oral and written novels .
