Abstract

                    The research sample consisted of (30) students of (10) years old who were chosen randomly  in (the fifth primary stage) from Al-Awael Elementary Mixed School and Asia Primary School in the Nineveh Education Directorate. The samples were distributed to Two experimental and control groups equally, the experimental group included (15) male students, and the control group includes (15). The two groups were chosen by a random method and the researchers equalized the sample in the following variables : (pre-test scores, positive thinking and skills father's educational attainment, mother's educational attainment IQ score, year average for science subject. To verify the hypotheses of the research, the researcher adopted a test for positive thinking for The fifth class. The researcher used the experimental design of the partial control with the experimental and control group of  a pre and post measurement. Positive thinking was measured by a scale that Had been adopted by university of Al-Qadisiyah . It consisted of (32) paragraphs (7) paragraphs were deleted after  the test was presented to the experts and arbitrators, and (3) paragraphs after making the procedure Psychometric characteristics to the test. So the test in its final form consists of (22) items and has been developed with the alternatives it is fit for  me completely, it is fit for  me to some extent, does not apply to me). It is not apply to me
Using the appropriate statistical means, the data was analyzed and the final results were shown , which revealed the statistically significant difference in the positive thinking test before and after the experimental group students in favor of the dimensional application  with the absence of a statistically significant difference among the students of the control group in the positive thinking test according to Cohen's classification, the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are
