Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify the level of performance of the teachers of the faculties of education in the light of the modern curriculum trends from the point of view of their students. A female student for each department distributed equally according to the variables of gender and scientific specialization, they were chosen by a stratified random method, and for the purpose of achieving the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (32) items that included modern trends for all elements of the curriculum, and after verifying its validity and stability, it was distributed through electronic classes via the platform Google Classroom Educational., After collecting, analyzing and statistically processing the data using the t-test for one sample and the t-test for two independent samples, the researcher reached the following results:
1. The performance level of the teachers was good compared to the hypothetical average.
2. There was no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average performance of teachers in the two faculties of education according to the gender variable.
3. There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average performance of teachers in the two faculties of education according to the specialization variable.
In light of the results, the researcher came up with the following important conclusions The level of performance of the teachers of the faculties of education in general for the teaching skills is high in light of the modern trends of the curriculum and from both the scientific and human specializations The researcher also came out with a number of recommendations, and suggested many titles for future studies.
