Abstract
The jurists mentioned that there are three inhibitions of inheritance: slavery, murder and differences in religion. In this research I’ll try to confirm that disobedience to parents is one of inheritance inhibitions; since disobedience to parents is considered taboo and a major sin, and it does not differ in any way from the aforementioned inhibitions. Ibn Hibban and
An-Nasa’i narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas,
(May Allah be pleased with them), that the Prophet (Peace & blessings be upon him) said: "No one who is disobedient to his parents, no one who reminds others of his favors, and no drunkard, will enter Paradise".
The current research was divided into an abstract and a preface that included a brief statement of the vocabulary mentioned in its title, followed by an introduction and two sections: The first section was titled: Giving the disobedient son the inheritance, and the second section was titled: Depriving the disobedient son of inheritance, then I mentioned the legal origin for making disobedience to parents a cause of inheritance inhibitions as well; and a conclusion that includes the most correct opinion of the research results, and a list of sources and references.
