Abstract
Language with its different levels is regarded as the most important factor in conveying meanings. Sound is the smallest unit in language. The phonetic syllable is a mixture of sounds which contribute in conveying meanings. The research examines some verses from Juz’ Amma whose phonetic syllables have an effect in portraying the meanings of the verses which appear in these syllables whether they are seen from the perspective of the progression of phonetic syllables which add fast to the rhythmicity of the verses , the progression of other syllables which make their rhythmicity slow, the formation of verses resulting from the progression of a particular phonetic syllable or they are free from this syllable.
The research comprises three sections preceded by an introduction about the phonetic syllable and its kinds. The first section discusses the sequence of similar phonetic syllables in their formation. The second section is devoted to handling the sequence of different phonetic syllables in their formation having common connotations. On the other hand, the third section includes the absence of a phonetic syllable . Finally, the research ends with a conclusion in which the most important findings are mentioned.
