Abstract
Iraqi-Iranian relations for the period of 1969-1975 are characterized by special technique and trends. They are the result of a group of influences and changes emanating from the Iraqi and Iranian reality, as well as the developments in the Arab Gulf region, the most important of which is the decision of Britain to withdraw and the emergence of Iran's claims that Britain is as a peacekeeping force in the region. Despite the superiority of the Iranian ability , Iraq was keen to play the role of an anti-power and rejection of the efforts of Iranian domination during the shahsera, who sought to control Iraq and reduce the impact of its regional role by all means and because of this Iraq found itself in in a number of issues during the first half from the1970s.
