Abstract
Intertextuality is a poetic mechanism used by poetry as an art that depends to a large extent on memory, and the studies of intertextuality in the modern era have gained great critical attention due to the danger of this mechanism in forming the poetic text and proposing the vision of this text. On the specificity of the poet’s use of this mechanism in a way that makes it a central working mechanism on which the poet relies in building the text and proposing its contents. In this research, we will deal with the issue of intertextuality, its manifestations, and the mechanisms of its functioning among the poet, which are mechanisms that distribute between the benefit from the religious and poetic heritage in general, as well as other intertwining pillars that will be clarified through the context of this research.
