Abstract
The research aims to identify the effect of using the virtual laboratory on developing experimental thinking for students of the Department of Life Sciences in the Laboratory of Phylogeny by verifying the null hypothesis formulated by the researcher:
• There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean differences in the scores of the experimental group students who studied in the virtual laboratories and the average differences in the scores of the control group students who studied in the traditional way the real laboratory in the pre and posttests of experimental thinking.
The researcher conducted his research sample on the third stage students from an intentional sample of students of the Department of Life Sciences in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Wasit Their number is (88) students, distributed in two divisions (A) and (B) and by random assignment, two groups were chosen, one of which is an experimental study in the virtual laboratory and its number is (44), and the other is a control who studied using the traditional method of the real laboratory and the number is (44) equivalent to the two groups of research conducted The researcher has the equivalence of the students of the research sample in some variables to increase concern for the internal integrity of the research results and among these variables (mental capacity, academic achievement, previous information in the plant laboratory, experimental thinking). The researcher also identified the scientific material for the testers and prepared the experimental thinking test consisting of (32) paragraphs. Multiple-choice The researcher also identified the scientific material for the testers and prepared the experimental thinking test consisting of (32) multiple choice items and by using statistical means after applying the experiment to the research, the researcher reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals, including the superiority of the students of the experimental group that studied using the virtual laboratory in experimental thinking in a laboratory. Stalk the plant.
