Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of kindergarten teachers in developing creative thinking among kindergarten children in Iraq from the teachers' viewpoint in the light of the available classroom environment. The study sample consisted of (95) teachers, within the Nineveh Education Directorate in Iraq, and to apply the study the researchers prepared a tool The study represented by a questionnaire in the skills of creative thinking distributed in five fields which consisted in its final form of (35) paragraphs. The results showed that the classroom environment and its relationship to the role of kindergarten teachers in developing creative thinking among kindergarten children was average, as both fluency and detail came first with an arithmetic average of (3.12), while the sensitivity of the problems came in the last rank with an arithmetic average of (3.00) The mathematical average for creative thinking as a whole was (3.06), and there were differences in the educational qualification in favor of postgraduate studies, and there were differences in teaching experience in favor of ((10 and more).
