Abstract

This study aimed to get to know the reality of national values in Islamic education and social books for the preparatory stage in light of contemporary challenges. The researcher designed a tool for national values distributed on three values, which are political, social and economic values. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study community and its sample consisted of books Islamic education and social studies for the preparatory stage for the fourth, fifth and sixth literary grades. The results of the research showed that the national economic values got first, where they were repeated (68), with a percentage of (46.57%), then came the second national political values, where their frequency reached the total of books (30), and their inclusion rate reached (20.54%)Then the third national social values came, where their frequency reached (18), and their inclusion rate reached (12.32%), in light of the research results. The researcher recommends paying attention to the national values that were not available appropriately, and taking advantage of the national values mentioned in the research tool by and book authors.
