The effect of adoption in 4H in the geographical survey of fourth-grade literary students in a geographical subject

The research aims to identify the impact of the 4H strategy on the geographical survey of fourth-grade literary students in the subject of geography.
To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers set a null hypothesis, and to verify the hypothesis, a sample of fourth-grade literary students at Al-Hikma Preparatory School for Boys in the city of Mosul for the academic year (2019-2020) was intentionally selected. Division (B) is the control group and is taught according to the usual method. The total number of the research sample members reached (52) students, and the research sample was distributed by (27) students for the experimental group and (25) students for the control group, and the process of parity was conducted between the two research groups in the variables that were identified. So.
The research required the preparation of a tool, namely: the geographical survey scale, and its final form consists of (35) paragraphs, and each paragraph has three alternatives, and the validity, reliability and discrimination were verified, and all of them were within the acceptable range.
In light of the results of the research, the researchers made a number of recommendations, including that the Preparation and Training Unit in the Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate train geography teachers on how to use the 4H strategy.
To complement the current research, the researchers put forward proposals for future research, including:
The effect of the 4H strategy on the systemic thinking of fourth-grade literary students in geography and developing their cartographic skills.

Urban Consolidation Of Urban Land Uses In The City Of Tel Kaif

The current research aims to study the urban integration of urban land uses as a result of the multiplicity of factors that affect the policy of urban integration of land uses in the city of Tel Kaif in choosing the place of residence , and this is affected by the ability to bear housing costs and the choice of the location of the residential plot within the urban use in the city , which indicates that Increasing the intensity of the use of residential land in the inner part of the city, and thus affects the prices of land , the distribution of labor and the transportation system, as well as the variation in the types of urban uses in the city, which leads the population to resort to the city center due to the availability of the commercial area, and thus the increase in the value of rent and the price of land in it.

This study focused on analyzing the hydrogomorphological factors and processes that led to the formation of geomorphological units, including highlighting the origins and development of the  basin on the one hand, and identifying its hydrogomorphological characteristics represented by drainage and sedimentary production on the other hand. The current research aims to study the biological diversity in the mountainous environment of north and north-eastern Iraq and to discover the geographical factors affecting this diversity in terms of natural factors, climate, terrain, water resources and human factors from population growth, road construction, overfishing, shrinking pastures and military operations, and the change experienced by living things in The study area during the past decades, as animals, wild birds and even vegetation were subjected to declining numbers and shrinking the area of ​​their natural habitats, which was reflected in the deterioration of the natural heritage of the study area, and therefore large groups of them were exposed to the risk of extinction, and in order to determine the current reality of the biological diversity of the mountain region, In this study, research, references, and reports of international and local organizations from the Iraqi Ministry of Environment, the United Nations Environment Program, the Nature Organization of Iraq, and publications of the Iraqi Natural History Museum were , which included recent explorations of the neighborhoods of the region along with some field visits for the year 2018 AD, and the use of geographical information systems (GIS) programs then come up with some results that serve the search.The study revealed the existence of a rich diversity of plant and animal organisms, forest ecosystems and an ecosystem of natural caves in the mountain environment, and the existence of a relationship and impact between climate and surface manifestations on the diversity and distribution of wildlife, in addition to the multiple human factors that have affected the numbers and types of these organisms, The bottom line is that the mountainous region possesses physiographic features from a geographical location, diverse terrain, a favorable climate, and a rational government, all of which qualifies it to become safe havens for biological diversity and the genetic banks of living organisms if the best use of these resource constituents is provided.

Routing of Flood Wave for Reservoirs Suggested structural Dam on AL-Tharthar Valleys to West of Nineveh Government .

The main aim from this studies to limit runoff for valleys of Al-tharthar basins and routing the flood wave in reservoir suggested ,and limit the amount of outflow change from reservoir and the time of delay flood wave (lag time ) and the relation between the volume of in and out flow from the reservoir in addition for temporary storage , which help to limit the dimension of spillway; where the out flood wave function to height of water above of crest of spillway and the surface area of reservoir. the amount of temporary storage for reservoir represent the difference between the in and outflow, while the increase of inflow with the time increase the raising of level of reservoir and increase the surface area for it. And the outflow from the spillway let to decrease of peak flow out from inflow and delay flood wave time to take enough time to avoid the flood side affections.
In through use tow programs in computer, show the delay time between (300 – 900) min. for studying reservoirs and reducing ratio of peak flow out from (71% - 91%) for reservoir (8) and (1) respectively, which use to reducing the dimension of spillway and limit the height of the dams and the level of top crest of spillways.

Geoeconomics of Pipelines Transporting Oil in the Arab Mashreq Countries

The research dealt with the study and analysis of the economic importance of pipelines transporting oil in the countries of the Arab Mashreq through quantitative statistical methods in studying the productive efficiency of the network and its relationship with other economic foundations, and the study showed different power relations between the pipelines network and the economic foundations and the most influential pillars on the lengths of the pipeline network are The number of lines whose correlation was about 0.905, oil export with pipelines with a correlation rate of about 0.857, and the total oil financial return with a correlation degree of about 0.836, and the study made several proposals, the most important of which is the reactivation of oil pipelines that have stopped working in the region, such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Syria, and interest in building pipelines. It is proposed between the producing countries and the traffic countries in order to raise the level of economic cooperation between the countries of the Arab Mashreq region with the global environment.

The rates of large population increase in the city of Mosul in particular, and the urban expansion accompanying this increase have led to great pressure on educational services and thus these services cannot meet the needs of the growing population, as a result of the absence of prior planning to contain any possible increase in the population, and this necessitates the intervention of planners. And decision-makers and development officials to take measures to achieve all the services that the citizen aspires to in terms of fair distribution and choose the appropriate location to provide services with high efficiency. Hence the importance of this study, which aims to analyze and diagnose the reality of secondary schools in the city of Mosul and to reveal the characteristics of their spatial distribution, and their efficiency in providing the necessary service to the population at the level of residential neighborhoods in the city.

The preparation of the geographical map for the distribution of educational services in particular requires reconsidering the criteria for their planning distributions, in terms of drawing their current image and preparing its future image, through the sufficiency of the number of educational institutions for the growing population, and preparatory schools are the second stage of secondary education. It corresponds to the population’s need to obtain it on the one hand and the requirements of that need of preparing schools that accommodate the optimum number of students without a surplus of it that constitutes a deficit in its performance in the city of Mosul. The technology of geographic information systems represented by (ARC GIS Ver.9.3) program was used in preparing maps and conducting applications related to the subject of the study.

The effect of learning cells strategy on the achievement of 5th Primary Class Pupils in Social Studies

The current research aims to identify the effect of using the learning cells strategy on the achievement of fifth primary pupils in the subject matter, and for the purpose of achieving the goals of the research the following: hypothesis has been formulated
There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average score of the experimental group students who studied according to the strategy (learning cells) and the average score of the students of the control group who studied according to the usual . method in the post test
The researcher used the experimental design with two equal groups, an experimental group and another control group. The number of the study sample individuals reached (62) students, by (30) students for the experimental group who studied according to the learning cells strategy, and (32) students for the control group who studied according to the traditional method The researcher rewarded between the two research groups in the variables, the researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (30) paragraphs, his honesty and consistency were verified, the researcher started applying the experiment on Sunday 13/10/2019 and ended on Monday 13/1/2020 and when processing the data statistically: The search result showed the following
- There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average pupils' grades in the two groups (experimental and control) in achieving social subjects and in favor of the experimental group.
