Introduction to The Model of Vinay and Darbelnet in Translation: Basics and Comparisons

The concept of translation has been tackled and represented via various studies and theories. The purpose behind these remarkable efforts is to make the (translation) process be fulfilled in a scientific methodology as competent as possible. On this basis, the paper in hand represents a theoretical view on one of the oldest models of translation studies, namely the model of Vinay and Darbelnet (1958). The study sheds light on the basic concepts in translation studies and the models submitted by scholars and researchers in some detail. The Model of Vinay and Darbelnet is to be tackled elaborately, especially the main strategies and their included procedures. throughout this presentation, some comparisons will be dealt with at the term level. That is, each procedure will be tackled and applied in English-Arabic translation. Then, it will be put under comparison with other relevant or near terms submitted by other scholars. The study hypothesizes that the different terms used in the same notion reflect the fact that this difference is merely a matter of terminology. By the end of this research, some important points will be pinpointed and specified.

Investigating the Effect of Denies Model in Developing Mathematical Skills for Fifth Primary Grade Pupils

Abstract: The research model was selected intentionally from research community, and consists of (46) pupils in the fifth class grade from school of Abby alfaqar for girls and distributed randomly on the two groups as much as (25) pupils for the experimental group which studied the subject according to Denies samples the and (21) pupils for the control group which studied subject itself on the according to the normal method,
Next, the researcher started by applying the experiment from one of researcher on Sunday (23/1/2014) and ended on Thursday (17/4/2014 )and applying Mathematics skill pre-test, the data were analyzed statistically by using(T) tests for two independent samples and the results were as follows.There is difference with statistical significance between the two pre and post- tests of the experimental group of Mathematical skills tests in favor of post- tests.There is no significance difference between the two pre and post- tests of the construct group of Mathematical skills test. There is a difference with statistical significance between the average degrees of mathematical development skills for two groups, the experimental and control and in favor of the experimental groups.

The Effect of Using Kimp Model on the achievement of fifth primary class pupils in Islamic Education and develop their skills thinking

The current research aims at defining the effect of using kimp model on the achievement of fifth primary class pupils in Islamic Education and develop their Para knowledge thinking skills , The researcher used experimental design of two equivalent group one is experimental and other is control , The sample reached (45) representing division (A) and control group (24) representing division (B) , The researcher made an achievement test in Islamic education made of (32) items of multiple choice as well as to tool to measure para information thinking skills made of (33) items.
Reliability and stability was extracted , the experiment lasted (7) weeks, After treating statistical date , the researcher concluded the following :
1. Statistically significant differences between experimental and control groups in achievement and in favor of experimental group.
2. Statistically significant differences in the experimental group in pre and post tests to measure Para information thinking skills and in favor of post test.
3. Existence of Statistically significant differences between control and experimental group in measuring Para information thinking skills and in favor of experimental group.

Given these results , the researcher made a number of recommendation and suggestions.

The Impact of Group Investigation Model of Critical Thinking for History Department Students/College of Basic Education – University of Mosul

The research aims at defining the impact of group investigation model of critical thinking for history department students at college of Basic Education. The society of the research was third year students at history department at the college of Basic Education for the academic year 2012-2013. the sample included (40) students divided randomly on two groups of the research (20) students at the experimental group that used the suggested program and (20) students in control group who used traditional method. Equivalence between both groups was done in the variables of (sex, age, previous semester of history). The researchers used the tool of Al-Aloosy (2005) and underwent a panel of experts in education and psychology to find surface reliability of the tool. Stability was found using re-test reading (0.87). statistical data of the results was done. The results showed statistically significant differences between both groups in favor of experimental group used the suggested program as well as supremacy in conclusion, knowing hypothesis, induction, evaluate proofs and explain results in critical thinking. The researchers made a number of recommendations and suggestions such as asserting the use of group investigation model on teaching history due to its importance in enhancing critical thinking. The necessity of urging them and give explanations about critical studies in other materials and variables such as achievement or mediative thinking.

The Effect Of Helda Taba Model on the Acquisition of Social Science by The Fifth Grade Primary Pupils

The current research aims at revealing The Effect Of Helda Taba Model on the Acquisition of Some Social concepts by The Fifth Grade Primary Pupils . In order to achieve such an aim the following null hypothesis has been put which state that : there are no statistically significant differences between the experimental group using Helda Taba Model and the control group using traditional (lecture ) method . The researcher used the experimental design of two groups (experimental and control) with post-test . The sample has consisted of (64) pupils chosen by the researcher intentionally from the society of the research and has been divided into two groups with (32) pupils at the experimental group and (32) pupils at the control group . The researcher has equalized between both groups in a number of variables like age measured in months , Social Science degree for the fourth class , general average of fourth class , IQ test and academic achievement of parents . The researcher has made a (19) items test to acquire concepts . The reliability and stability have baan verified after applying it on the sample of the research .Treating the data statistically , the results have showed the supremacy of experimental group that used Helda Taba Model . Given these conclusions and results , the researcher has given a number of recommendations and suggestions like using Helda Taba Model on the Acquisition of Social Science by Fifth Grade Primary Pupils and condnet a study to know the effect Of Heled Taba Model on creative thinking .

The Effect of Merrill Tennyson Model on the Acquisition of Islamic Concepts by Sixth Primary Class Pupils

The current research aims at presenting the effect of using Merrill Tennyson model on the acquisition of Islamic concepts by sixth primary class students . In order to achieve such an aim the following null hypothesis was put which state that : there are no statistically significant differences between the experimental group using Merrill Tennyson Model and the control group using the traditional (lecture ) method. The researcher used the experimental design of two proportionate samples. The sample consisted of (60) pupils chosen by the researcher intentionally from the society of the research and divided into two groups with (30) pupils at the experimental group and (30) pupils at the control group. The researcher equalized both groups in a number of variables like age measured in months, Islamic education subject degree for the fifth class, general average of fifth class, IQ test and academic achievement of parents. The researcher made a (16) items test to acquire concepts. The reliability and stability was verified after applying it on the sample of the research. Treating the data statistically, the results showed the supremacy of the experimental group that used Merrill Tennyson. Given these results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.

The impact of Using Janet Educational Model on Acquiring Fiqh concepts by the Pupils of Islamic Secondary School in Fiqh and their Motivation Towards Learning it

The current research aims at knowing the impact of using Janet educational model on acquiring Fiqh concepts by the pupils of Islamic secondary school in Fiqh and their motivation towards learning it ; the researcher used the experimental design of two equivalent groups (experimental and control). The sample was (44) pupils of fourth secondary class in the Islamic secondary for girls , divided into twogroups: experimental that used Janet educational model and were (21) (division A), and control group that used the traditional method and were (23) (division B).
Equivalence between both groups was done in the following variables:(general average, age measured in months and academic achievement of parents), the experiment lasted (8) weeks and four days, the researcher made two tools: the first a (49) items of multiple choice , second: motivation scale towards learning Fiqh of (30) items , both reliability and stability of the scale were verified, the researcher used the following statistical means (T-test of two independent samples, Person correlation factor , Spearman –Brown equation). The results showed statistically significant differences between both groups in acquiring fiqh concept and in favor of the experimental group, Statistically significant differences between both groups in motivation towards learning fiqh and in favor of the experimental group. Given these results, the researcher made a number of recommendations such as the necessity of having courses for the Islamic material teachers supervised by specialized Professors in methodologies from Mosul University to keep the teachers updated with modern methodologies models and styles. The researcher also made a number of suggestions such as making a study about the effect of using Janet educational model in memorizing Quranic texts and mastering Tilawa rules for eighth basic class pupils in glorious Quran.

Place in the Poetry of the Tramps – The Desert as a Model

The desert ample space in the pre-Islamic Arabic poetry, occupied poets who have taken from the desert plenty of material for poetry. It was the space in which these poets wanders and they roam the Mujahlha and cut Mfawzha, we can rarely find a poem by poet jaahili without mention of the desert or description of it. They derived from it the meanings of life adored it and ,value of moral courage, generosity and the rescue of the ATD. It has taught and refined their nature's. The Tramps poets are the most ignorant poets who reported that desert place in their poetry as evidence to the nature of their lives and the type of environment. They described its heat cold, days, nights, the sun ,stars , the moon, compassion and joy. This research tackles the study of place in the poetry of Tramps and reveals the nature of desert in their poetry and how they see it, which represents the yard of their war, their dream and travels. Some of these poets, are Abu Khrash, Shanfari, Silaik and Urwa Ben Elward.
